How to Create a Digital Menu for Your Restaurant in Lebanon

A good digital menu is quick to open, easy to read on a phone and always up to date. Here is how to prepare one in an afternoon.

1. List your dishes by category

Start from your paper menu or your Excel sheet. Group dishes into clear categories such as Salads, Burgers and Drinks, and keep the order your customers expect.

2. Write names in Arabic and English

Many customers in Lebanon read both. Keep names short and add a one-line description with the main ingredients.

3. Decide how you show prices

Choose your main currency. If you price in dollars, decide whether to also show the price in Lebanese pounds, and keep your rate up to date.

4. Add photos to your best sellers

You do not need a photo for every dish. Start with the ten dishes people order most; good photos make them easier to choose.

5. Add sizes, extras and allergens

Sizes and extras with their own prices avoid questions at the counter. Allergens help guests with allergies choose safely.

6. Place your QR codes where people wait

On every table, at the counter, on the door and on your delivery bags. Use one code per table if guests order from their table.

7. Keep it up to date

Hide dishes that are finished, change prices the same day and check your menu once a week. An out-of-date menu loses trust quickly.
